CodeFlicker is an AI-driven integrated development environment. The StreamLake team, a part of Racer, developed it. It helps developers generate code, optimize programs and debug bugs. The tool is based on big models such as KAT-Coder and Claude Sonnet.KAT-Coder is a self-developed model of Crypto that handles long contextual tasks. Users input requirements in natural language and AI outputs code suggestions. Currently supports Mac system download, beta testing stage. Free to use, no charge plan. The interface is like VS Code and supports multiple programming languages. Target users include software developers, teams and beginners. The platform focuses on data security, user code is not leaked. Website has download links and demo videos. x account @CodeFlicker_ai shares updates such as new AI IDE coming soon. The ecology includes the KAT-Coder model family and the WanQing platform.KAT-Coder-Pro V1 excels in programming tasks. With multi-stage training, the model becomes an agent-based coding tool. Developers are able to collaborate in real time and AI provides feedback. The tool improves coding efficiency and reduces manual debugging.

Using Help
Visit the official website at https://www.codeflicker.ai/. There is a download button on the home page. Currently only Mac is supported. the Windows version is still under development. If you use Mac, click the download link. The system will download the installation package. The file size is medium and the download time depends on the internet speed.
After downloading, double-click the installation package. The installation program will start. Follow the prompts and click "Next". The process is simple and requires no additional software. After the installation, CodeFlicker icon appears on your desktop. Double-click it to open it.
The first time you open it, you need to register an account. Register with your email address. Enter your email address and click Send Captcha. When you receive the e-mail, enter the verification code. Verification passed, set the password. The password should contain letters and numbers. After logging in, the interface is displayed.
The interface is like VS Code, with a file browser on the left. In the center is the editing area. Below is the terminal. Right side is AI assistant panel. Top menu has settings options.
Select the model first. In the settings menu, find "Model Selection". The options are KAT-Coder and Claude Sonnet. KAT-Coder is developed by Racer, the context is 256K long, which is suitable for complex projects, while Claude Sonnet is more generalized and can handle daily tasks. After selecting them, save the settings.
Try code generation. Create a new file. Select a language, e.g. Python. enter comments in the edit area. For example, "# Write a sort function". Call AI by pressing shortcut Ctrl+Space. ai generates code, e.g. def sort_list(lst): return sorted(lst). Check the code. Insert it if it is correct and press Enter.
If the code is wrong, change it. Type "optimize this function". ai suggests improvements, such as a faster algorithm.
Debugging help. Use it to fix bugs. errors running the code. Copy the error message, e.g. "NameError: name 'x' is not defined". Paste it into the AI panel. Type "Fix this error". AI analyzes. Identifies the problem: variable is not defined. Give advice: add x = 0. Explain why: Python needs to define the variable first.
Figma to code. Upload the Figma file. Select "Figma Import" from the menu. Paste the Figma URL and click "Convert".AI scan the design. Export HTML, CSS, JS code. The process takes a few seconds to a few minutes. After exporting, view it in the edit area. Run the preview to see the effect. Tweak the code and modify the style as needed.
Code for fully automatic triggering. Type "import pan". AI suggests "import pandas as pd". Press Tab to accept. Save typing time.
Optimize code. Select a piece of code. Right click and select "Optimize" AI analysis. Suggestions such as replacing loops with derivatives. Original code: result = [] for i in range(10): result.append(i)2). Optimized: result = [i2 for i in range(10)]. AI explanation: cleaner and faster.
Architecture Design. Using Q&A. the AI panel inputs "Design an e-commerce database". the AI outputs ER diagram description. Include tables like users, products. give SQL script: CREATE TABLE users (id INT PRIMARY KEY, name VARCHAR(50));. Copy to file and execute.
Real-time collaboration. Team account required. Add members in Settings. Enter email address to invite. Members join while editing the file. ai suggests in the sidebar, e.g. "lock this function to avoid concurrency". Real-time synchronization of changes.
Ops support. Terminal running code. Copy logs after crash. Paste the AI panel. Enter "Diagnose Problem". ai check, e.g. memory overflow. Suggestion: Increase memory allocation, or optimize data structures.
Jam mode. Enter the complete task, e.g. "Build a Flask app". Include app.py, templates. check the structure. Run tests.
Duet mode. Like chat. Enter part of the code, AI responds by completing it. User says "start a class", AI writes class MyClass: def init(self): pass.
Git integration. Right click on the file and select "Commit".AI generates a message like "Add sort function". Click Commit. Push to the repository.
Extensions. Integrate pygame and other libraries. Import import pygame. ai help writing game code.
Experiencing problems such as slow AI response. Check the network. Or change the model. There is a feedback button on the official website. Click on report bug. describe the problem, send.
Beginners start with a simple task. Type "hello world". the AI generates print("Hello World"). Run it to see the result.
Veterans use long contexts. Open large projects. ai understand the entire code base. Suggest global optimization.
The tool indexes items. Open the folder and it scans for files. Enter a query such as "find variable definitions". the AI indicates the location.
Test code. Run it in the built-in terminal. Type python script.py. Look at the output. Use debugging for errors.
Save the project. Local or Cloud. Menu selects "Save". Cloud requires account synchronization.
Smooth operation. Shortcut key customization. Adjustment in settings.
Learn fast. There are tutorial videos on the official website. Watch it once and get started.
The total word count is about 1050. you can encode directly with it.
