AI transparency and security measures
While promoting generative AI capabilities, Google emphasized its focus on accountability and transparency. All images and videos generated through "Photo to video" and "Remix" will include a layer of SynthID
technology to generate an invisible digital watermark. This technique has previously been used to Magic Editor
edited images, which works by embedding a marker that is insensitive to the human eye but detectable by the machine into the pixels of the content, thus providing traceable information about the source of the content that the AI is generating or editing.

The resulting video will also have a visible watermark to further increase transparency.Google says these features have undergone extensive "red team exercises" and rigorous evaluation to identify and address potential risks and prevent abuse. At the same time, officials also acknowledge that these experimental features may not produce completely accurate results, and encourage users to help with continuous improvement through feedback.
