Innovative information retrieval mechanisms
Yuxi-Know builds a hybrid retrieval system that fully combines the respective advantages of structured and unstructured data processing. For precise factual queries, the system realizes efficient ternary relational queries through the Neo4j knowledge graph engine, e.g., it can accurately answer questions such as 'Which country is the capital of Beijing'. The knowledge graph is imported in standard JSONL format, and nodes are automatically labeled with Entity tags to improve query efficiency.
For complex queries that require semantic understanding, the system uses Milvus vector database to store document vectors, which supports uploading and vectorization of documents in various formats such as PDF, TXT, MD and Docx. During retrieval, relevant document fragments are first obtained through vector similarity matching, and then handed over to the large model to generate the final answer. This kind of processing is especially suitable for dealing with the problem that there is no direct answer in the document that needs to be reasoned.
The system is complemented by integrated networked search capabilities, so that when the local knowledge base fails to provide a satisfactory answer, the latest information from the Internet can be accessed through the Tavily API to ensure that the answer is current and complete.
