Stitch's image input feature transforms sketches into professional interface designs.

2025-08-20 221

Ability to translate vision to design

Stitch's computer vision processing module parses sketches or reference images uploaded by users, automatically recognizes the UI elements and layout structure in them, and generates interface designs that meet industry standards. This feature breaks through the limitations of traditional design tools that require manual drawing of components, and realizes the jump from concept sketches to finished products.

Technical realization details

  • Image analysis: using CV algorithms to recognize layout grids, button positions and text areas in wireframe diagrams
  • Style Transformation: Transforming the rough lines of hand-drawn elements into standardized UI components
  • Scale maintenance: maintain the spatial distribution of the original sketch for responsive adaptation

Best Practice Recommendations

Officially recommended to ensure the best conversion results:
1. Use clear, hand-drawn wireframes with elements spaced no less than 1 cm apart
2. Include clear labeling of interface partitions (e.g., "navigation bar", "product cards").
3. Avoid overly complex perspective effects or decorative graffiti
The current version does not support Figma export based on image input, this feature will be opened in a subsequent update.
