Strategies for offline/weak network scenarios
While some of the advanced features require cloud computing, the underlying recognition capabilities can be ensured by:
- Pre-Download Models: Under Wi-Fi environment, go to Settings → "Download Models" and select "Art Basics" and "Architecture". "Art Basics" and "Architecture" packages (about 300MB).
- Using Lite Mode: Turn off the "Enhanced Analysis" option in the settings to reduce the amount of data transferred.
- Batch Processing TechniquesPre-recorded images to be recognized and batch uploaded via photo albums after network restoration
- Results caching mechanism: Recognized images will be stored locally for 7 days, and the history can be viewed when there is no network.
In case of emergency: 1) Try to switch to 4G network 2) Take a steady shot at the object for more than 3 seconds to let the device finish local feature extraction
