Multilingual Encrypted Communication Solutions
For multinational teams, Lumo provides a multilingual communication solution based on zero-access encryption. Its implementation is divided into three steps:
- language adaptation: Team members can directly enter content in five languages, including English, French, German, etc., and the system will automatically recognize and match the language of the reply. For example, if a French member enters a question in French, a Chinese member will receive a reply in the same language, and if he/she needs to translate it, he/she can add the command "Translate to Chinese".
- cryptographic synchronization: All members need to be logged into their Proton accounts, and chats are synchronized across devices with zero-access encryption. This means that team members in Berlin and Tokyo are able to view encrypted conversations on their respective devices without the server being able to decrypt the content.
- Document collaboration: When sharing documents (e.g. draft contracts) through the "File Upload" function, it is recommended to use commands such as "Summarize the key points of this document" to obtain a multilingual summary and to avoid direct transmission of sensitive documents.Plus users can work with larger files and keep encrypted records.
It is additionally recommended that "ghost mode" be enabled for sensitive conversations, where records are not saved, and which is suitable for ad hoc confidential discussions.
