Fine keying technology program
For hair level fine keying scenarios:
- Multi-model mixing techniques: first use u2net_human_seg to get the base mask, then use is-net to adjust the edges (connect the MaskBoolean node to do the OR operation)
- Edge Repair Process: 1) Add Dilate node to extend the mask by 2 pixels → 2) Use EdgeDetect node to extract the hair strands → 3) Compose the final mask via ChannelBooleans
- Color Difference Reinforcement: add ColorCurves node before Rembg node to separate skin tone from background hue (especially for blue background scenes)
- Motion blur compensation: Enable Rembg's Process Motion Blur option for fast moving shots (requires Studio version of Da Vinci)
Movie-grade solution: Combined with the newly introduced Magic Mask tool in Da Vinci 18.6 for manual correction, you can get movie-grade keying quality.
