The Comate AI IDE is installed and configured in three steps:
Download & Installation
- interviewsOfficial Download PageSelect the corresponding system version (Win10+/macOS11+)
- VS Code users need to search for "Baidu Comate" in the extension marketplace to install the plugin
- JetBrains family of IDEs (e.g. PyCharm) need to be installed via the plugin marketplace and then restarted
Environment Configuration
- Login to Baidu account to activate for the first time (supports import of existing IDE settings)
- Command line users check "Install command line commands" to add environment variables.
- Ensure network stability to enable AI functionality (10Mbps+ bandwidth recommended)
caveat
You need to ensure that the basic IDE version is up to standard (VS Code ≥ 1.70, IntelliJ ≥ 2021.1), and some advanced features require a Pro subscription.
