To address the issue of content copyright, OpenCreator adopts the principle of creator first:
- Vesting of rights:Users enjoy the full copyright of the generated content, including modification rights, distribution rights, performance rights and all other derivative rights, and the Platform will not claim any joint ownership.
- Commercial License:All generated content is automatically licensed for commercial use, and can be directly used in advertising, product packaging and other profit-making scenarios, without the need to apply for additional licenses.
- Legal safeguards:The TOS explicitly commits to no training of derived models (i.e., user input will not be used to improve other AI systems), and data is stored in GDPR-compliant U.S. data centers
- Dispute handling:If the generated content accidentally contains copyrighted elements (e.g., Disney-like characters), the platform provides a 48-hour dispute appeal channel to regenerate the alternative content free of charge
Special note: Users are advised to add enough creative distortion (adjusted by the "Style Strength" slider) when using celebrity portraits/logo elements, and although the platform uses Clean Data training sets, third-party copyright detection tools may differ in their criteria.
