Lock-in's Smart Alert feature detects distractions

2025-08-19 181

Lock-in's Smart Alerts feature detects distractions by monitoring the user's tab switching or idle behavior in real-time. When the system detects potentially distracting behavior (e.g., 3 seconds of idle time by default), a reminder pops up in the upper right corner of the screen, such as "It looks like you're distracted, try focusing for 5 minutes?" The user can choose to stay focused or ignore the reminder. Users can choose to stay focused or ignore the reminder. The sensitivity of the reminder can be adjusted in the settings to lower the detection threshold or turn off specific types of reminders. This feature requires the user to authorize Lock-in access to screen activity, otherwise it may be limited.
