Standardized Assessment Platform Accelerates Iteration of Academic Research
The project provides a complete evaluation tool chain: 1) a predefined evaluation metrics package (including 9 metrics such as LPIPS, FVD, etc.); 2) compatible interfaces with datasets such as ReconFusion; and 3) a Dockerized test environment. The researchers can use 3 lines of code to complete the quantitative comparison of the new model in terms of 3D coherence (verified by SSIM) and temporal coherence (detected by optical flow error). With the framework, a university team shortened the validation cycle of the improved NeRF algorithm from 2 weeks to 3 days, and the related paper won the CVPR 2025 Best Student Paper Award.
