The project has designed a multi-level authentication system to secure API access. It supports Bearer tokens, URL query parameters and x-goog-api-key three mainstream authentication methods of integration programs. The most distinctive feature is the realization of OAuth 2.0 automatic renewal mechanism, when the access token expires, the system will automatically refresh without manual intervention.
The security architecture consists of the following key components: 1) isolation of sensitive information by environment variables; 2) full-link log auditing of requests; and 3) dynamic management of token expiration dates. These features enable the system to meet the needs of individual developers for quick startup (via Google AI Studio key), as well as to adapt to the stringent security requirements of enterprise environments (using OAuth service accounts). Tests show that its authentication delay is controlled within 50ms, without affecting the business response speed.
