current security protection system
DataLine builds a four-fold protection mechanism: 1) encrypted transmission: Mandatory use of SSL/TLS for all database connections 2) local storage: Sensitive information is stored using AES-256 encryption 3) access control: Role-based operation rights management 4) Audit log: Records all data access behavior. Special note: The current authentication system is in single-user mode, but supports managing credentials via Docker secret.
Multi-User Roadmap
- Q3 2024: Achieving LDAP/Active Directory Integration
- Q4 2024: Launch of OAuth 2.0-based three-party authentication
- 2025: Improve row and column level data access control
- continuous evolution: Plans to enable operational traceability through blockchain technology
Interim solutions
The existing version enables basic collaboration by 1) Configuring a basic authentication reverse proxy using Nginx 2) Isolating the environment using different Docker container instances 3) Exporting static reports to share analysis results. Enterprise users are advised to wait for the upcoming v2.0 Enterprise release, which will include full SAML support.
