Chive's installation process is deeply optimized for macOS and consists of four main stages:
- Pre-screening preparation: Make sure the device is running macOS 15+ and has Claude Code 1.0.38 or later installed (check command)
claude --version) - Getting the installation package: Download the .dmg file from the official website and install it by dragging and dropping it into the application folder in about 10 seconds.
- Configuration SynchronizationThe key step is to change the Claude Code configuration file (default path) to the
~/.claude/config) Copy the contents to the Chive Settings page - automatic detection: Scans the system for active Claude Code processes on first startup, no need to import them manually!
Special Note: If you encounter a test failure, it is recommended that you pass the ps aux | grep claude Verify that the Claude Code process is running properly.
