There are following steps to use the document parsing feature of chatless:
- Click on the 'Document Parsing' function in the main interface
- Upload local documents (supports common formats such as PDF, TXT, DOCX)
- The software automatically parses the content of the document and generates searchable text.
- Enter a question related to the document in the dialog box, e.g. 'Extract key points in the document'
- AI will give answers based on parsed content
The parsing results can also be saved to the knowledge base for subsequent use. Note that some complex formats (e.g., encrypted PDF) may require pre-processing before they can be parsed properly.
