From static to dynamic expression reconstruction
In addition to the basic face-swap function, CanonSwap's Facial Animation System transforms still photos into vivid, dynamic expressions. This feature is based on its unique motion information processing architecture, which extracts expression muscle group movement patterns from reference videos and maps them to the target face with high precision.
In terms of technical implementation, the system first resolves the motion trajectories of 104 facial feature points in the source video through 3D deformation models, and then uses non-rigid transformation to transfer these motion patterns to the target face. Tests have shown that even old photos from 20 years ago can generate expression animations that perfectly match contemporary 4K videos through this technology, and the accuracy of mouth synchronization can reach more than 97%.
