The value of innovation in social experimentation
The modular experimental framework designed by the project supports three main types of research: economic systems experiments that simulate the impact of monetary policy on the employment rate of intelligentsia, social norms experiments that test changes in the crime rate under different reward and punishment regimes, and technology diffusion experiments that track the diffusion curve of a new tool in a population. Each experiment is set up to observe over 200 indicators, including the Gini coefficient, social mobility and the rate of diffusion of innovations.
The most revolutionary feature of the platform is that it allows humans and AI to make rules together. In a recent stress test, the hybrid decision-making group formed a stable property rights regime earlier than the pure AI group, confirming the governance advantages of human-machine collaboration.
