One and done cross-platform authentication solution
To address the pain point of developers needing to repeatedly log in when switching between multiple AI tools (e.g. Cursor/Claude), MCP Jetpack offers the following two solutions:
- Configuring the Synchronization Function: First complete the plug-in setup in any AI application by → Generate encrypted profiles. After installing the plug-in in other AI applications, select to automatically synchronize all authentication information.
- Cloud Authentication Hosting: Check the box during the first setup (account registration required), then log in to your account on any new device to automatically load the authentication record.
Implementation Steps:
- Ensure that all AI applications have the same version of the MCP Jetpack plugin installed
- Complete the entry of authentication information such as API keys in the main application
- Select the synchronization method via the function in the menu bar
Caveats:
- It is recommended to use the function when changing the key periodically
- Enterprise users can enable centralized control
